I've never read anything by Neil Gaiman ... and I'm the last person you'll catch reading any kind of fantasy, myth or magic. But I caught the radio adaptation of Neverwhere tonight - set in a parallel subterranean London - and I can see I'm going to be hooked for the next few days. Brilliant cast, including James McAvoy and Benedict Cumberbatch as the Angel Islington who has yet to appear.

Thanks for the tip.
I don't like fantasy, either. I've only read one book by Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book. I simply loved it.
I do feel quite drawn to reading it now, Callmemadam. I know it had wonderful reviews.
No, I missed that Sue. What a shame - and it's too long ago for i-Player, I've just checked!
Darn it, I missed it so will have to use iPlayer. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
I read and enjoyed 'Good Omens' that Gaiman wrote with Terry Pratchett but haven't read anything else that he has done.
