I wasn't going to ... but of course I did, as soon as I noticed it was down to £9-something on Amazon. Had to be done? Even though I've probably only made about two recipes from Vol 2? Feeling a bit silly as I'd resisted the Honey&Co baking book which I actually wanted more.

  1. I just got this too! Haven't made anything from it yet, but there's definitely lots I want to try. I have to say though, that I love the Honey & Co Baking Book so I hope you manage to get your hands on a copy sometime soon. xxx

  2. I caved yesterday. I will remove Tender from the shelf to compensate.

  3. I'll drop hints for Christmas, Miranda - but expect I'll end up buying it for myself.

I feel better now, Sue. I used vol 1 a lot, put on at least a stone from it. Vol 2 has hardly been opened. But so hard to resist.

One in, one out, Lucille? I got Tender from the library, enjoyed what I made and then returned it.

  4. Yes and I am already enjoying it this evening despite having been out to eat and ordering far too much (admittedly delicious) food.

  5. I use volume 1 a lot, hardly even looked at my copy of volume 2, so why do I want this? I can recommend The Honey and Co. Baking book.

  6. I'm kicking myself now, Gina. Nobody needs three vols of Nigel. (Wish he'd had a wash and scrub-up for the cover photo; he always looks so seedy.)

  7. I love watching Nigel in his kitchen but have yet to make a single recipe. Such a bargain for the book, Mary!
