A beautiful stained glass window in a village church, where we discovered Celia Johnson's grave in the churchyard ...

And there is delicious cake (plum brioches, warm and oozing butter) in the village hall ...




Then a stroll through a tunnel of wisteria and a garden where the peonies and roses are coming into bloom...




Ending up in a kitchen where we just missed a batch of Welsh cakes cooked on the Aga.
