They're gingerbread, Vronni - but I was baking for durability, not taste! You could tile the bathroom with them! Happy New Year -let's hope it's a better one.
Thank you, Cornflower and callmemadam. I am ridiculously proud of them as I've never done anything like this before. They were copied from C17 tiles on an old fireplace.

Good gracious! They're amazing! I love them. Now you should take up pottery and do ones that would last the centuries.
They're pretty solid, Pam - maybe they will last centuries! That'll confuse someone one day!
