Yes, Mary. Me too! I'm going to try and see as many exhibitions as possible this year and make the most of my memberships. ( I shouldn't imagine I'll be able to keep up with you, though.) We did go to the RA Post Imp last week and that was very good.I hadn't had very high hopes but really enjoyed it.
Yes, the Sargent is really one to look forward to, Sue - especially if you're a member! But I think one of the most enjoyable exhibitions I've seen recently - still on, and it's free - was Liotard at the National Gallery - quite beautiful. I know I'm lucky being able to zip into town in half an hour - I hatched a very last minute plan last week to see Frans Hals on late opening night - and was so glad I made the effort, it really lifted what had been a floppy, wet day.
