My first ever simnel cake - so I was quite pleased with myself.
It looks delicious! I must try one of these next year or even sooner. i've always wanted to make one...
It's a simple enough recipe, Vronni - but does take a while to bake so I decorated it next day.
I still have never managed to make one - I start with the Marzipan and it is downhill from there...
I think Mary Berry would have pointed out the cracks in my marzipan, Toffeeapple.
