Think pink! Think pink, when you shop for summer clothes,
Think pink! Think pink, if you want that quelquechose.
Red is dead. Blue is through.
Green's obscene. Brown's taboo.
And there is not the slightest excuse for plum or puce.
Or chartreuse.

What a delight ... Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face on television and at lunchtime, too, so I didn't even need to feel guilty.
And don't you love that bookshop where she's working at the start of the film?
And the balloons - and Paris - and that flowerstall and armfuls of mimosa - and the gowns - and that tear running down Audrey's cheek when she's wearing the wedding dress ...
Even if Fred Astaire is far, far too old for her!

Isn't it wonderful? I recorded it and watched it in the evening. Love the clothes, love Audrey, was made uncomfortable by how old Fred Astaire was. But dancing like that at nearly sixty? Incredible.

He was amazing. But I bet she preferred the back of a taxi with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday!
Was trying to set the video for Breakfast at Tiffanys - but they've cancelled it for racing! Grrrr ... though I've seen it countless times before.

I'm out of the loop. I haven't seen this movie yet but oh, Audrey is stunning isn't she.

Darlene, you'd love it - must be one of the best Paris movies ever! And great songs!

Don't think I've ever had spam before, Sue ... anyway, he's deleted now! I think Roman Holiday is my favourite, too. They've all been on television this week, what a lunchtime treat. (You'd think looking at Audrey's cheekbones might encourage salad, but she didn't put me off my cheese on toast!)
