Visiting some old favourites this afternoon. I hadn't been to the Courtauld Gallery in ages, not since it reopened for sure. Today they had free admission if you showed a lottery ticket, so I bought one - haven't done that for ages either - maybe Manet will bring me luck.

Are you now a multi-millionaire? I do hope so. I mean, money isn't everything but a smallish fortune would be quite pleasant.

Actually, I did win with my lottery ticket. I tore it up and put it in the bin - then discovered another lottery promotion for money off theatre tickets.
Never one to miss a bargain, I fished the soggy scraps out of the bin - and they were soggy! - pieced them together and got a ticket to see Jane Asher next week for only £1.
