Ladies, as one has to book now to be sure of a £10 seat to see Jude Law as Henry V -
not this coming December, oh, no,
but in December 2013 ...
I am relying on you to remind me that the tickets are in the top right hand drawer of the chest in the bedroom.

What a lovely reader you are Toffeeapple! I'm relying on you! I have visions of myself not only mislaying the ticket, but completely forgetting that I'd ever booked! This forward planning is most out of character for me - two days ahead is more my style - but I remember walking past the long queue for returns when he did Hamlet.
And would you believe, as I was booking online tickets were disappearing fast!

Is that O.M.G. in a good way? Or not?

Thanks Mary. I'm now significantly poorer as I ended up booking tickets for all five shows - they all sound fantastic! For Henry V, however, I will be going alone - I have treated myself to a front row stalls ticket to see Jude Law - aka my biggest fantasy crush who I have loved from afar since I was 13 - on opening night. I AM SO EXCITED. I am so glad you posted about this, I'd never have known otherwise!

Could we make up a coach party do you think?

Oh, Rachel ... how exciting. I had no idea I wieIded so much influence! I am up in the gods. I was tempted by the five-ticket offer, decided I wasn't that bothered by young Harry Potter massacring Martin McDonagh - as he undoubtedly will - but I did book for Judi Dench. I think you're very wise to go alone, serious drooling is always much better without the mockery of friends.
And now I'll definitely remember where I put the ticket ... because you'll review it, and I'll have a few days notice to start rummaging!

I'm sure we could ... slum it with me or go with Rachel in the posh seats?

I couldn't miss a bit of Judi. Then the Midsummer Night's Dream one sounded good, then I thought, well, I'm interested in the plot of the Daniel Radcliffe...and though I wasn't fussed by the first one it would have cost me £18 for booking fees anyway, so I thought I might as well go the whole hog. How I'm going to remember when they are though, I don't know. It feels ridiculous to have theatre tickets for a year and a half away, though the producers must be laughing all the way to the bank as most performances are at least half sold out already...not bad going! Is it sad that being in spitting distance of Jude Law will actually be a dream come true?! I am SO EXCITED!!!!!

I'm sure I saw Privates on Parade a few years ago at the Donmar ... I think you'll like it.

The tickets will be there unless I don't manage to get hold of any legally, in which case they will be in the top right hand of my chest...

I had to look up Jude Law...

On the plus side, your date is in my diary.

I did wonder if I was broadcasting too much information to mad fans!

I'm not sure whether I'm shocked or impressed, Toffeeapple - about Jude Law, I mean.
I'm definitely impressed by your diary!
