Can't compensate for lack of sun
Because the summer's all gone.
Tea and flapjacks here today but the song seems to catch the mood. Another dark cloud coming over ....

Well it's about time that I made an appearance then, Mary!
Some dark clouds would be so welcome here, we've had the most incredibly draining heatwaves lately. We couldn't have chosen a worse time to spend a couple of weeks digging up the front garden. I am slathering on 50 SPF sunscreen like crazy!
Hoping to have some sort of post up by the weekend and having things get back to normal. Oh, and we went to see Moonrise Kingdom last Friday...cute and quirky wasn't it?
