An excellent documentary here about Don McCullin, one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century; unfortunately, it is also an obituary to British journalism.

Thank you so much for this Mary! My daughter has one of his English/non war photos hanging near the bed in her spare room/study/boxroom in her flat, and I love looking at it when I wake up there, but had no idea of the extent of his work. Fascinating documentary!
When I see his Sunday Times photos, I realise they were like a visual soundtrack running through my teens, Donna. Glad you enjoyed it. It was on quite late and I thought people could easily have missed it.

I saw this and was very impressed. I see it won a BAFTA.
I think it was in cinemas earlier in the year, Cait, but I didn't realise at the time.
PS I was at Tate Britain this afternoon and noticed some of his photographs. of down-and -outs that I recognised from the programme..
