I was contemplating flying up to Edinburgh to see this final exhibition in the Scottish Colourist series, as  I'd greatly enjoyed the Peploe and Cadell shows.
And then I realised that I could see it much closer to home.

Just how reasonable are flights, Mary? It would be nice to meet Cornflower on a trip over but the four hour, one-way, train journey is so long.

I find that the train is way too long and expensive for a day-trip, Darlene. But I've been lucky in the past with flights. £35 return last time I went, and I think it was £50 the time before. Haven't checked recently - last time I was up in Scotland was around Sept last year. Sign up with BA and keep an eye on the offers!
