Quite an education ... who knew that there was Fat Barbie, discontinued Pregnant Barbie, with detachable bump, Inflatable Boobs Skipper ... well, I certainly didn't, but then I didn't even have a Stereotypical Barbie despite much pestering. Very pink. Quite fun. Rather too long.
I really wanted a Sindy, Pam - but my mum was massively down on anything that triggered future pestering for accessories/collectables - and she knew i didn't care for dolls, I just wanted 'stuff.'
I feel I just wasn't in on the hoopla sufficiently. I did go to see it with a friend and I did think that there were some verty funny lines and great production values, and yet. It didn't feel like it warranted all the gushing and it didn't feel like it added up to a film.going to try the Korean film this week and have my fingers crossed.

Well, I didn't know! I never had a Barbie either - I did have a "teenage doll" but I think that was pre-Barbie. I'm old...
